Dr. Shu ROX!
Dr. Shu is the best dentist ever. Seriously, I have never had a better dentist experience - I just have to promote this guy. If you are in the South Windsor, CT area he is the dentist to see. His office is located on 1169 Ellington Rd - 860-289-4955.
He is friendly and very professional as is his staff. He takes his time and you never feel like you are being rushed. He explains everything he is doing and takes an extensive amount of notes for his files as well as complete x-rays (this may be normal, but I have never gotten a whole set before (like 18?)). I learned more about dentistry during my first visit than I have ever known. Of course I still don't floss - just can't do it. Doesn't work for me.
I had to get 3 fillings yesterday and I barely felt the novacaine shot. Of course when it wore off later that night, I was quite sore and could not eat for hours. Could barely open my mouth, still a little sore today. But that's normal.
So anyways, props to Dr. Shu.

Flipping through CT blogs, I saw your title. Isn't it great when you find a dentist you really like and trust? That's why I have to give a plug to my dentist in the Bridgeport area, Dr Edward Kozinn -- he's the best, nicest, easiest to talk to, no hurt novacaine injecting, dentist I've ever been to.
I love my dentist too!
i dont like dentists very much, im afraid of them... but i must accept my dentis is a sweetheart and he cares and explains and gives an amazing follow up.
my orthodontist (i dont go anymore, but ive been going to one ever since i was 3 until a couple of years ago) he is nice but hes a flirt (the last one i went to, not the one when i was 3 or 8 or 15)
Speaking of dentists - my ex dentist was the cutest boy ever - his name was Spiro, and god was he hot! I would tell him the drooling was from the anaesthetic but it was so from his beautiful green eyes and smile, lordy! He was the best dentist as well - sadly he left for the Navy. :(
